Bifidophilus Chewables Description: A viable blend of the DDS-1 strain of L. acidophilus and B. bifidum in chewable tablet form to promote intestinal health. Potency: 1.5 Billion+ CFU per chewable unless otherwise specified 50% Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1, 50% Bifidobacterium bifidum (guaranteed at time of manufacture) Growth Medium: Vegetable based medium fortified with natural proteoses, peptones, vitamins, amino acids, minerals, enzymes and growth promoting and stabilizing constituents. Finished Product: 1.5 gram tablets, Bifidobacterium bifidum in a base of maltodextrins, traces of other saccharides, and hydrolyzed protein constituents, natural cryoprotectants and a proprietary stabilizer containing anti-oxident vitamins. The tablet is sweetened with sucrose, flavored with natural rasberry flavoring, and compounded with stearic acid, magnesium stearate, and silicone dioxide. During shipping and storage, the lower the temperature, the longer the shelf life; e.g., at 40 F, the product would be 100% stable for more than one year. At 50 to 60 F storage it may show a loss of only 5-25% over a period of 3 to 6 months.
